"We hired Denny to finish our basement in a 2006 house we just bought. Having 4 kids now, we needed a new bedroom, full bathroom and family room in the basement. Throughout his time with us, he showed that he is hard working handyman that takes pride in his work. At numerous occassions he gave me a briefing on how the basement was going & what were the problems he was encountering. He used licensed professionals ( plumber & electrican) to correct issues in the basement in this 2006 house that was built too fast like most new houses on the market nowadays. He ensured that these deficiences were corrected before continuing his work. He ensured that he was following the codes and ensured thorough inspections were done by the city during the required steps having me present at all time. He always kept his working place tidy at the end of everyday showing again that he is a caring worker. His situation reports after everyday of work kept us informed of all stages and giving us confidence. The budget that was set was just slightly over what was agreed, however it was due to the unexpected things that had to be rectified due to the original builder errors. He explained well the differences and the why. His evaluation of the time the work was going to take was perfect. He even worked extra hours some days in order to finish on time as he said he would do. "After many years of planning and saving I finally decided to have my main bathroom updated. I decided to install the tub of my dreams, nice and deep with jets, surrounded with beautiful tile. I wanted a beautiful new vanity, lots of storage, new low water consuming toilet and beautiful new flooring. All these fine things, of course, had to be enveloped in beautiful new paint. Now the problem was, since I couldn’t possibly accomplish all this work myself, to find the right contractor to complete the job properly. That, in my past experience with renovating my past seven houses can be an extremely frustrating job. But I found the best contractor I had ever used. Denny helped from the get go with the planning and completed the job with the utmost care and concern that every little detail was absolutely perfect.
